Precision cutting
Our specially trained operators can plot lateral connections or incoming junctions with millimetre precision during the pipeline relining process and fully open the connections using a robotic cutter restoring flow from residential properties and buildings.
Cutting root ingress
In some instances, roots both fibrous and tap roots can enter a drain or sewer and break and block the asset. When roots are considered too large, we can utilise our robot with a specially designed cutting head to cut back the roots in preparation for rehabilitation. Using robotic cutters to remove root ingress saves time, money, and disruption, as the pipe can then be cleaned and surveyed to assess damage to the pipe before a liner or patch repair is installed.
Concrete and other obstructions
During construction and building work, slurry, cement, and concrete can enter drains and pipelines. TDM can remove concrete and hardened deposits such as tuberculation, reinforcement, and encrustation. Foreign objects can be cut up into manageable pieces for removal using our robotic cutters without the need for costly excavations, creating a safer environment and a small site footprint.
